Tristar Cap And Garment, which was founded in 1983, is a family owned highly specialized headwear manufacturer with its plant located in Richmond, B.C, Canada. The facility is 6000 square feet and employs 50 people. The plant is capable of producing 20,000 caps a month. Our headwear is made using newest sophisticated sewing, cutting, embroidery and silk screening equipment available. We use the best fabrics, trims and finishing materials. By providing custom “Made in Canada” headwear solutions with more than 23 years of knowledge and experience in headwear manufacturing industry, we remain proud to be the largest headwear manufacturer in Western Canada and a leader in contract manufacturing and private labeling.

Since the beginning, Tristar has not carried any stock of ready-made headwear. We manufacture our own headwear from scratch to finish and take our motto “TRULY CUSTOM” very seriously. We produce the finest quality truly custom headwear with choice of extensive selection of styles, colours, fabrics, trims, back closures and other personal options shown on this site or else a new concept or styles created by you, the client. Our designs created by us over the years provide access to huge array of the latest trends, leading edge designs and ideas offered on this site. Our team of experienced designers is capable of fixing any imperfections or modifying a style to suit your style and using fine workmanship and artistry can create a masterpiece each and every time.

With change in Global economy and the rise in customer demands, Tristar Cap and Garment has formed a partnership with off-shore manufacturer in China since 2000.This plant is capable of manufacturing caps in surplus of 20,000 a day (minimum of 244 units and up), knitted touques (244 and up), woven labels (5000 and up) and embroidered patches (244 and up) catering to needs of private label, catalogs, special promotions and special event customers.

With operatives in China to oversee all production processes undertaken, we ensure that the product delivered is of the standard expected by the client at all times. It is our policy to ensure the following Quality standard and the Ethical practices steps are adhered to for all products manufactured by us in China:

1. Our Tristar Cap & Garment partnership factory is subject to a Factory Audit to ensure all products pass stringent safety standards and that they meet health, safety and fair labour standards.
2. Prior to production, all counter samples will be submitted for any required changes and approval usually in 2 to 3 weeks.
3. Production samples submitted for further approval and to allow final changes if necessary.
4. Intra production checks undertaken by inspectors to ensure consistent product quality.
5. Final shipment is re-inspected against the sample approved to ensure that goods comply with clients’ requirements.

This process serves to minimize the risk of inferior goods being shipped to our clients.
